RESOLVED, That the Council hereby approves the award of the Purchasing Committee
therefor, and hereby awards contract for furnishing and delivering to the Water
Department, Filtration Plant, 1900 Rice Street, Saint Paul, Minnesota, approximately
450 tons Fluosilicic Acid for period of one year from April 1, 1965 through March
31, 1965, to DES PIAINW aMMCAL COMPANY in accordance with City specifications
and the Formal Bid #1085 of said Des Plaines Chemical Company for the contract
price of approximately $18,225.00, such bid being the lowest and said Des Plaines
Chemical Company being a reasonable and reliable bidder, and the Corporation Counsel
be-and hereby is directed to draw up the proper form of contract therefor and the "
proper City officials are hereby authorized to execute said contract on behalf of
the City of Saint Paul. ,•:
