FIOUNCIL NO 221384
RESOLVED, That a public hearing be held by and before
the Council of the City of Saint Paul, in the Council Chamber of
the Court House and City Hall, in said City as provided in
Section 1.07, paragraph 2, of the Saint Paul Legislative Code,
at ten otclock A.M. on February 9, 1965, upon the advisability
and necessity of the repair, replacement, remodeling, or wrecking
and removal of the single family dwelling and garage on Lot 10,
Block 29, Subdivision of Blocks 28 and 29, Stinson, Brown and
Ramsey's addition to St. Paul, according to the plat thereof
recorded in the office of the Register of Deeds of Ramsey County,
Minnesota, also known as 1+96 Omaha Street, because said structure
is reported to be dangerous and unsafe to life, limb and adjoining
property.

Subject: 496 Omaha Street
Gentlemen:
I am referring to you for condemnation the dangerous single
family dwelling and garage located at 496 Omaha Street, on
Lot l0�lock 29, Subdivision of Blocks 28 and 29, Stinson,
Brown amseyts Vdition. -G Vv-
The dwelling is approximately 30 by 25, roof and joists
rotted out, floors sagging as much as two feet, no sewer
or water facilities, walls caved in. These buildings are
beyond repair and should be wrecked and removed. Leo L.
and Florence Baker, 1848 Ivan Way, Saint Paul 2, are the
last known record owners. Danger Notices have been posted.
Kindly institute condemnation action by setting a hearing
date in accordance with Section 1.07 -2 of the Saint Paul
Legislative Code.
