RESOLVED, That the Council hereby concurs in the award of the Purchasing Committee
therefor, and hereby awards contract for furnishing and delivering to the Department
of Public :Works, Bureau of Municipal Equipment, 891 North Dale Street, four FWD Model
134 -3115 heavy -duty Dump Trucks (two with Smith S -101 bodies and A -50 Hoists and two
with LaHass bodies and Perfection 7020 Hoists) for use by the Bureau of Sanitation,
to PUBLIC`WORKS EQUIPMENT' COMPANY, INC, in accordance with City specifications
therefor hereto attached and the Formal Bid #1062 of said Public Works Equipment Co,,Inc.
for the price of $54,532.,,00 less allowance for one 1954 Model AU Ser, A30071, City #200
and three 1956 model 324D FWD Ser, A- 30106, A30081 and A30083, City Nos 206 -7 and 8 -
$13,728,00, making net amount of contract $40,804.00, such bid being the lowest meeting
City specifications and said Public Works Equipment Company, Inc. being a reasonable
and reliable bidder, and the Corporation Counsel be and hereby is directed to draw up
the proper form of contract therefor and the proper City officials are hereby authorized
to e.-mcute said contract on behalf of the City of Saint Paul,

and reliable bidder, and the Corporation Counsel be and hereby is directed to draw up
the proper form of contract therefor and the proper City officials are hereby authorized
to execute said contract on behalf of the City of Saint Paul.
