WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Saint Paul, in Council File No. OS-637, adopted
an interim ordinance regulating official controls within a limited area of Ward 7 as specified
therein; and
WHEREAS, there is a proposal to build a bathroom addition to a home on property
commonly known as 418 Totem Road; and
WHEREAS, the Council finds that the said proposal is in keeping with the underlying
intent of Council File No. OS-637, now therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Saint Paul hereby approves an amendment,
by subsequent adoption, to Council File No. OS-637, for the purpose of pernutting the property
owner at 418 Totem Road to apply for zoning and building pernuts for the purpose of building
a bathroom addition at the said property which located within the boundaries of the interim
ordinance created under the said interim ordinance; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the appropriate City agencies are hereby
authorized to process and, if necessary, approve such applications in the matter provided by law;
and be it
FURTHER RESOLVED, pending the formal passage, approval and effective date of an
amendment to Council File No. OS-637 providing for the said actions noted herein above, the
appropriate City agencies may act upon an application to construct a bathroom addition at 418
Totem Road as if the said amendment to the said Council File have already taken effect.
