WHEREAS, Funds provided for'winter street maintenance are
exhausted, and
WHEREAS, emergency borrowing under Chapter Section 206 is
made necessary_toZ` secure funds needed for this purpose,
RESOLVED; that the Mayor and Comptroller be and they are
hereby authorized and directed to borrow a sum not to exceed Two
Hundred and Ni ety -Five Thousand Dollars and no cents, ($295,000.00),
and to executend deliver to the party or- parties making the loan
a promissory note payable to such party or`parties, bearing interest
at the rate not exceeding five per cent (5 %) per annum, said note
- to be payable one year from date of execution thereof, and be it

the Emergency�'Winter Street Maintenance Fund, Code 0254R, all of
the said Fund to be expended for the purpose of Snow Plowing, Snow
Removal, Sanding and Salting Icy Streets, and all other work needed
to keep the streets' in safe condition for winter. driving.
