RESOLVED, that a public hearing be held by and before the
Council of the City of Saint Paul, in the Council Chamber of the
Court House-Land City Hall, in said City, as provided in Section 1.07,
Par. 2, Saint Paul Legislative Code, at ten o'clock A.M. on
February 11 , 1964, upon the advisability and necessity of the
repair, replacement, remodeling,'or wrecking and removal of the
apartment building on Except South 3 feet of Lot 8 and Except
West 40 feet of Lots 9 and 10, Block 68, Town of West Saint Paul,
according to the plat thereof recorded in the office of the Register
of Deeds of Ramsey County, Minnesota, also known as 160 -168
East Congress Street, because said structure is reported to be
dangerous and unsafe to life, limb and adjoining property.

Gentlemen:
There is an apartment building at 160 -168 East Congress Street
on property described as Except South 3 feet of Lot 8 and
Except West 40 feet of Lots 9. and 10, Block 68, Town of West
Saint Paul.
This building. -is 96 by 58 by 30 feet, vacant, dilapidated and
dangerous to life, limb, and adjoining property. It should
be substantially repaired or wrecked and removed. Windows are
broken out, floors are warped, electrical and plumbing installa-
tions inadequate.
Danger Notices have been posted. The 1 -ast known record owner
is Arthur K. Wurdeman, 838 Laurel Avenue,, St. Paul 4; David E.
Marsden and Joseph L. Abrahamson,Co:Trustees, c/o 1711 Lincoln
Avenue, St. Paul 5; and Mrs. E. J. Anderson, 1895 Manton St.,
St. Paul 6 Contract Purchaser.
Will you please arrange for a public hearing date in accordance
with Section 1.07 -2 of the Saint Paul Legislative Code7
