Sand - gravel backfill for water service trenches 210 cu. yd. @ 3.50 $735.00 ` Sand - gravel backfill for sewer trenches 534 cu. yd. @ 3.50 1869.00 ✓ Disposal of unsuitable material from water trenches Lump Sum 165.00 r Extra work for lowering the inverts of two existing manholes, At Norfolk and Sheridan, including cutting the cast iron stand pipes, to the elevation of the new catch basin leads Lump Sum $145.00 Extension of the catch basin at the S.W. corner of Itasca & Cleveland to clear a gas main. - Additional depth of Catch Basin 2 Lin. ft. @ 25.00 $50.00 Extra for high early strength concrete in the north half of Magoff in St. intersection to facilitate traffic movement 72 sq. yds. @ 0.60 $43.20 Furnish & install type A and type'B castings to replace existing defective castings 15 sets A and B Castings @ 48.00 $720.00 The plans showed the location of 22 sewer stand pipes between Sta. 0+00 and Sta. 23 +50 which were to be adjusted and the sewer records in the Department of Public Works indicated that they were 18" below the surface. In some cases the actual location was not as shown on the plans and the depth to the structures Varied from 18 inches to 3'k feet so that extra work was involved in exploring for the standpipes and-extending them to the new grade. Lump Sum $105.00 Total additions this agreement $4,318.97 and Whereas, The total addition is $4,318.97, now therefore be it Resolved, That the City of St. Paul through its City Council approves the foregoing additions made in accordance with the Specifications in the sum of $4,318.97; said amount to be added to the lump sum consideration named in the contract, known as Comptroller's Contract L -6518, and which amount is to be financed from County Aid Funds.
