title, and specifications for- "Water Chemist!'.

analyses of the City water supply before and after treatment
and filtration.
To layout work and supervise chemists and bacteriologists.
To supervise the filter plant operators.
To determine the proper amount and kind of chemicals to add to
the water supply.
To carry on research work and to advise on problems of water
purification.
Minimum qualifications:
College graduation in bacteriology, chemistry or chemical
engineering and six years' professional experience in a chemical
laboratory, at least two years of which must have been as Water
Chemist II or equivalent. (No substitution for education.)
