PAUL COUNCIL NO. iii OFFICE F THE CITY CLERK C R �UTION- GENERAL FORM PRESENTED BY COMMISSIONE DATE WHEREAS, the Commissioner of Public Utilities has reported, in accor- dance with Section 53 of the City Charter, the existence of an emergency during the period from December 16, 1963 to December 31, 1963 inclusive which rendered necessary; the employment of certain employees of the Department of Public Utilities for more than eight hours per day or forty hours per week in doing the following work: Making emergency repairs to street lighting circuits, and WHEREAS, this emergency arose by reason of the following facts and circumstances: Overtime work required to restore street lighting service immediately for public safety, therefore, be it RESOLVED, that the proper city officers are hereby authorized to pay the employees who performed such work in accordance with the provisions of the Council's salary ordinance, Ordinance No. 6446.
