AN ADMINISTRATIVE ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE
NO. 987+, ENTITLED:
"AN ORDINANCE FIXING THE COMPENSATION OF"dUDGES
OF ELECTION AND TO RATE OF PAY FOR ATTENDING
INSTRUCTION MEETINGS, INCLUDING CARFARE",'
APPROVED FEBRUARY 6, 1952, AS AMENDED. THIS IS
AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE RENDERED NECESSARY FOR THE
PRESERVATION OF THE PUBLIC PEACE, HEALTH AND
SAFETY.
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAINT PAUL DOES ORDAIN: ,
Section 1. That Ordinance No. 987+, approved February 6,
1952, as amended, be and the same is hereby further amended by
strikin from - Section 1 thereof the following: "Fifteen Dollars
($15.001 per election day ", and by inserting in lieu thereof the
followin Fifteen Dollars ($15.00) per election day plus One
Dollar 01.00) per election to the judge or judges of election
designated by.the City Clerk to pick up election supplies before
each election ".
Sec. 2. This ordinance is hereby declared to be an
emergency ordinance rendered necessary for the preservation of
the public peace, health and safety.
' MSec. 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in
force upon its passage, approval and publication.
