COUNCIL RESOLUTION—GENERAL FORM ' PRESENTED BY COMMISSIONE ' DATF — �EA.S, The Commi.ssioner of Paxks and Recreation and Public Buildings has reported, in accordance with Section 53 of the City Chaxter, the exi.stence of an emergency during the p eriod fY�om February 16 to 29� 1961�., V7hich rendered necessary the �employment of certain employees of the DepartMent of Parks and Recreation and Public Buildings for more than eight hours p er day or forty hours per s�eek in d.oing the following work: Preparing plans in the Architect�s office � and making required inspections on Saturday. And WH�r�A.S, This emergency arose by reason of the follow- ing facts and circumstances:; � F�xpedient to have various project plans ready for the beginning of the construc- tion season; installations at the Home-A-Rama show required immediate inspections. TH�EFORE, BE IT RFS�VED, That the proper city officers are hereby authorized to pay the employees who pex- formed such work in accordance with the provisions of the Council�s salary ordinance, Orclinance No. 6t�6.
