The Council of the Gity of St. Paul having received the report of the Commissioner of Finance
� upon the above impravement, and having considered said report, hereby resolves:
1. That the said report a,nd� the same is hereby approved and adopted, aud the said improvement
is hereby ordered to be proceeded with.
� 2. That the nature of the improvement which the Cauncil recommends ia
to condemn and take•an easement in the land necessary for the slopes, cuts and fills,
including right of removal of l.ateral support from sub�ect land or rema3.nder thereof,
occasioned by excavations thereof or construction of slopes in the grading a.nd sur-
facing wi�h bituminous material the 1Vorth and South alley in Block 5, Tilsen's Essex

Resolved Further, That a public hearing be had on said improvement an the 2�th day of
NSa.rch, 1961+ , at the hour of 10 o'clock A.M., in the Council C'hamber af the Court
House and City Hall Building in the City of St. Paul. That the Commissioner of� Finance give notice of
said meeting to the persons and in the manner provided by th� Charter, stating the time and place af
- heaxing, the nature of the improvement and the total coat thereof as estimated.
