WHEREAS, the State of Minnesota has proceeded in
conderanation to acquire Qertain paraels of real estate in the
City of Saint Paul, Ramsey County, Minnesota, to-wit: Lot 20,
Thompson� s Subdivision of Block 58, Lyman Da.yton�s Addition,
and is willing to advance ,a partial payment thereon, pending
appeal, in the a.mount of $15,600.00, as is evidenced by �tate �
Warrant No, 696�+57, in tY�e aforesaid amount, made payable to
�ienry L. Valentine and Geraldine K. Valentine as present owners
of record title, Twin City Federal Savings and Loan Assoaiation,
mortgagee, Ra.msey County Treasurer, and the City of Saint Paul;
and
WHEREAS, it affirmatively appears from �the written
report of the Valuation Engineer to the Corporation Counsel that
the City has no interest in the above-described real property;
now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the proper City officials may be and
hereby are authorized and directed to endorse State Condemnation
Warrant No. 696�+57, the said City of Saint Paul having no interest
' therein; but having been shown as a named payee thereon.
