1 WHEREAS, adverse action was taken against the Solid Waste Hauler & Vehicle and Solid
2 Waste Hauler (Each Additional Vehicle) licenses held by Aatlas Waste Services, LLC, d/b/a
3 Aatlas Waste Service, LLC (License ID#20010002542) for the City of Saint Paul, by Notice of

WHEREAS, the licensee did not respond to the Notice of Intent to Suspend Licenses to
contest the allegation or pay the delinquent license fees and late fee penalties; and
WHEREAS, the Notice of Intent to Suspend Licenses stated that if the licensee failed to
respond by March 6, 2006, that the matter would be placed on the consent agenda to impose the
recommended penalty; now therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the Solid Waste Hauler & Vehicle and Solid Waste Hauler (Each
Additional Vehicle) licenses held by Aatlas Waste Services, LLC, d/bla Aatlas Waste Service,
LLC, are hereby suspended until such time as delinquent license fees and late fee penalties aze
paid in full.

Dear Sir/Madam:
The Office of License, Inspections andEnvironmental Protection has repommended
suspension of the Solid Waste Hauler & Vehicle and Solid Waste Hauler (Each Addifional
Vehicle) licenses held by Aatlas Waste Services, LLC, d/b!a Aatias Waste Services, LLC far the
City of Saint Pau1. The basis far the recoxnmendation is as follows:
According to Office of License, Inspections and Environmental Protection
records, you have been not paid the Solid Waste Hauler & Vehicle and Solid
Waste Hauler (Each Additional Vehicle) license fees for the past three years
(9(20/03 through 9l20J04;_9f20/04 through 9120105 and 9/20/OS through
9/20/0�. The total amount now due is $1719.00 which includes delinquent
license fees of $1149.00 and late fee penalties of $570.00. '
At this time, you haue three options on how to proceed:
1- If you wish to continue to do business in the City of Saint Paul, you need to submit the Y �
delinquent license fees and late fee penalfies to the Office of License, Inspections and
Environmenfal Protection at 8 Fourth Street East, Suite 200, St. Paul, Minnesota 55101-
1002 no later than Monday, March 6, 2006. Information should be directed to the
attention of Christine Rozek. A self- addressed envelope is enclosed for your
convenience. Payment of the fine will be considered to be a waiver of the hearing to
which you are entitled.

2. If you wish to haue a public hearing before the Saint Paul City Council, you will need to
send me a letter with a statement admitting the facts and requesting a public hearing. We
will need to receive your letter by Monday, March 6, 2006. The matter will then be
scheduled before the City Council for a public hearing to determine whether to suspend
your licenses. You will have an opportunity to appear before the Council and make a
statement on your own behalf:
3. If you no longer wish to do business in the City of Saint Paul, you may send a written
statement to that effect to the Office of License, Inspections and Environmental
Protection, 8 Fourdi Stteet East, Suite 200, St. Paul, Mimiesota 55101-1002 no later than
Monday, March 6, 2006. Information should be directed to the attention of Christine
Rozek.
If you have not contacted me by that date, I will assume that you do not contest the
suspension of your licenses.
