�9HEREAS, Leonard Mersch, an employee of the Department of Public
� � Safety, Bureau of Folice, was injured in a third party accident on
� March 3, 1964, while engaged in the perfoxmance of his duties for said

� WHEREAS, the City has incurred medical expense in the amount� o�
� . $237.45 there.for� and said employee was disabled from work for a period
of timei being p�aid salary in the amount of $512.50 ; and
� _ �- WHEREAS, a settlement has been negotiated between said employee
i and -the other party involved in said accident, in the total .amount of
� $3,000.00 , and out of said sum, the City will receive the £ull amount
a of its subrogation interest by reason of injury to its employee, less
, its proportionate share of attorney's fees, or a net settlement to the

� RESOLVED, That the p'roper City Officers are hereby authorized to
a accept in fu11, £inal and complete settlement of its claim herein the
� sum of $51.7.33 and to execute an� necessary releases th�r.�for; that of
: sa•id sum, $33]..09 is thereby credited to the Polico Salary Fund and
� $186. 24 to the Workmer�'s Compe�nsation Account of the General Fund.

WHEREAS, Leonard Mersch, an employee of the Department of Public
Safety, Bureau of Police, was injured in a third party accident on
March 3, 1964, while engaged in the perfore�ance of his duties for aaid
Bureau; and
WHEREA�, the City has incurred medical expen�e ir� the amount of

sum of $517.33 and to execute any necessary releases therefor; that of
said su�a, �331.09 is thereby credited to the Police Salary Fund and
�186.24 to thc Workmen's Co�pensation Account of the General Fund.
