WH AS� John W. Mc�onneloug� a 5aint P'aul attorney
and civic leader in this City and State for� many years� was
called from this life by Almighty God in his 72nd year� on -
the 26th day of� October� 1965, after many years of valuable
service on his part in �he interests of the citizens of the
City of Saint Y�aul� Mr. McConneloug having �erved from 1931
' to 1937 as Assistant Ramsey County Attorney from 1937 to 1940
as Corporation �Coun.sel for the City of Sain� �'aul� as a member
and as Chairman of the �'aint Pa�l �harter Commission� a veteran
'of World War I� he was a member of the American Legion; a past
Grand Knight of the Knights of Golumbus� he was a member of
its Council 397 and its Ravoux General Assembly� and

WHEREAS� his death has occasioned a great sen�e of
loss and deprivation to his wife� Genevieve McConneloug� his
son� John C. McMcConneloug� other members of his family� his
friends and acquaintances throughout the �City of �aint Paul�
now� �herefore� be it , .
RF�OLVED� That the Counc i�. on it s own -behalf and on
behalf of the citizens of the City of �aint �au1 hereby takes �
cognizance of the numerous sc�rTices rendered to this City and
community by said John W. Mc�onneloug and hereby ex:�ends
- sympathy and condolence to his surviving spouse, Genevieve
Mc�Gonneloug� and to the members of his family; and be it
PURTHER RE�OLVED� That the City Clerk is directed
to cause copies of this Resolution to be prepared and delivered
to members of the family of the deceased with all convenient
speed. '
