A statement of expense has been filed with the City Clerk on
this date for the purpose of creating a lien on the property
known as 1692 Selby Avenue, described as Lots 6 and 7, Block
8, Kuhl' s 'Addition.
This property ,is owned by:
Record Owners Harlan Realty Co. , 1206 Sheridan Ave. N. , Mpls.
Contr. Purch: Century Properties, 1694 Selby Ave. , St. Paul 4
Anthony Ferrara, 1694 Selby �1ve. , St. Paul 4
Carl C; Beskey, 1945 Rome Ave. , St. Paul 16
In this matter the following resolutions were adopted by the
City Councils
C.F. 221139, adopted by the Council December 18, 1964 (published
December' 26, 1964(� set a public hearing at 10 A., M. January 7,
1965. "
C.F. 221552, ado ted by the Coun�il January 19, 1965 (published.
January 23, 1965� ordered the wrecking by and at the separate
cost and expense of the owner, occupant, or other Yerson in con-
trol thereof.
C.F. 222097, adopted by the �ouncil February 26, 1965 (published
March 6, 1965) directed the Commissioner of Parks and Recreation _
and Public Buildings to enter the premises and wreck and remove
the structure thereon , and to do any and all things therein nec-
essary for the protection of life, limb and ad�oining pxoperty.
C.F. 223744, adopted by the Council June 1, 1965 (,published June
' 5, 1965) approved the awarcl of the contract for wrecking to A.
Kamish Company for the sum of $400.00 in accordance with specifica-
tions and Informal Bid 'No; 8314.

C.F. 225196 adopted by the Council September l0y 1965 (published
September 18, 1965) provided that the wrecking expense of $400.00
and expense of the Department of Parks And Recreation And Public
Buildings in connection with the condemnation in the amount of
$68.75, making a total of $468,75 be paid out of Wrecking
Buildings-Demolition 0976-256, and, in the event said sum proves
collectible from the owner, same is to be� credited to 0976=256.
The structure fias now been satisfactorily wrecked and a register-
ed bill mai:led to the owners.
We are requesting that you hold a public hearing with ten days !
notice to consider any complaints about the expenses incurred
and to �onfirm the amount. The Council resolution confirming
the expense should end with a directive to the City Clerk to
. file a °statement of expense for the purpose of securing a lien
on the property.
