W'hereas, in connection with the consgruction of the east bound frontage
road of Trunk Highway 35E from Farrington to Summit Avenue, the State of
Minnesota, Department of Highways has agreed to construct an extension of .
John Ireland Boulevard from Trunk Highway 35E east bound frontage road
southerly to Summit Avenue and also the relocation of sanitary sewer facilities
as necessitated by the construction on Trunk Highway 35E,' and,
, Whereas, the City of St. Paul and the State of Minnesota have entered into
a cooperative construction agreement No. 54671, State Project No. 6280-98�,� •
which provides, under Section VI for the advance payment of $284,632.32 as the
City of St. Paul's share of the cost of the total construction and in the event
the final construction cost is more or less than the advance payment, the City
of St. Paul will in the first instance, advance an additional amount to the
State of Minnesota and in the second instance the State will return a balance �
to the City, now therefore be it,
Resolved, that the sum of $284,632.32 be paid to the Commissioner of
Highways and this amount be charged to the Permanent Improvement Revolving
Fund,Code 6000 and this same fund to be reimbursed as follows:
Capitol Approach Bond Fund 7220 - $261,123.49
Board of Education 7313-510 - $ 23,508.83
