1 WHEREAS, adverse action was initiated against the Solid Waste Hauler & Vehicle and
2 Solid Waste Hauler (Each Additional Vehicle) licenses held by Viking Disposal Corporation,
3 d/b/a Viking Disposal Corporation (License ID#20010001153) for the City of Saint Paul, by
4 Notice of Intent to Suspend Licenses dated February 16, 2006, alleging that licensee failed to
5 submit required insurance information; and
WHEREAS, the licensee did not respond to the Notice of Intent to Suspend Licenses to
contest the allegation or submit the required insurance information; and

4VHEREAS, the Notice of Intent to Suspend Licenses stated that if the licensee failed to
respond by February 27, 2006, that the matter would be placed on the consent agenda to impose
the recommended penalty; now therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the Solid Waste Hauler & Vehicle and Solid Waste Hauler (Each
Additional Vehicle) licenses held by Viking Disposal Corporation, d/b/a Viking Disposal
Corparation are hereby suspended until such time as the required insurance information is
received and approved by the Office of LIEP.

The Office of License, Inspecrions and Environmental Protection has recommended
suspension of the Solid Waste Hauler & Vehicle and Solid Waste Hauler (Each Additional
Vehicle) licenses held by Vilflng Disposal Corporarion, d/b/a Viking Disposal Corporafion for
the City of Saint Paul. The basis for the recommendation is as follows:
On January 25, 2006, you were sent a letter from the Of�ce of License,
Inspections and Environmental Protection requesting the following
information: 1) a current ce�cate of General Liability insuran¢e for the
coverage period of February 7, 2006 throngh December 8, 2006; 2) proof of
auto liability insuranee liability for the coverage periods of October 5, 2005
through October 24, 2005 and June 18, 2006 through December 8, 2006.
You were given until February 8, 2006, to respond. As of todag's date, that
information has not been received.
At this time, you have three options on how to proceed:
If you wish to continue fo do business in the City of Saint Paul, you need to submit the
requested information to the Office of License, Inspections and Environmental Protecfion
at 8 Fourth Street East, Suite 200, St. Paul, Minnesota 55101-1002 no later than Monday,
February 27, 2006. Information should be directed to the attenfion of Christine Rozek.

2. If you wish to ha�e a public hearing before the Saint Paul City Council, you will need to
send me a letter with a statement admitting the facts and requesting a public hearing. We
will need to receive your letter by Monday, Febrnary 27, 2006. The matter will then be
scheduled before the City Council for a public hearing to detexmine whether to suspend
your licenses. You will have an opportunity to appear before the Council and make a
statement on your own behalf.
3. Ifyou no longer wish to do business in the City of Saint Paul, you may send a written
statement to that effect to the Office of License, Inspections and Environmental
Protection, 8 Fourth Street East, Suite 200, St. Paul, Miuuesota 55101-1002 no later than
Monday, February 27, 2006. Information should be directed to the attention of
Christine Rozek.
If you have not contacted me by that date, I will assume that you do not contest the
snspension of your licenses.
