Ms. Moermond recommended that the Neighborhood Housing and Improvement Office refixud the $30 Rental Registration fee; and Mr. Johnson's appeal is denied. He will need to pay the Registered Vacant Building fee. Mr. Johnson asked if he could sell the building. Ms. Moermond responded that he certainly could sell it. The building's status is that it is a Registered Vacant Building and there is a Code Compliance Inspection Report on this building. Mr. Magner explained that there is a Code Compliance Inspecrion Report, but Mr. Johnson wouid need to talk with Mr. Jim Seeger to see if it needs to be updated because the Report is more than a year old. If the Report were to be updated or approved as update, Mr. Johnson could market the property with the original Code Compliance Inspection Report. The building is a Category 2. Ms. Moermond explained that the vacant building needs to be brought up to Code before it can be occupied. The Code Compliance Inspection Report lists the items that need to be brought up to Code before it can be occupied. Mr. Johnson stated that he did not haue a copy of the Report because Mr. Torgerson was handling things previously. Ms. Moermond asked for Mr. Johnson's address and said that her office would send him a copy. Mr. Magner asked Ms. Moermond when the fee needs to be paid. Ms. Moermond responded that the fee needs to be paid one (1) month after the City Council ratifies her recommendation, which they are scheduled to do on February 1, 2006. Appeal of Assessment for property clean-up at 606 Edmund Avenue (J0504A); appellant: Carla Goss (Referred back to Legislative Hearing by the City Council) Ms. Carla Goss appeared. Ms. Moermond asked Ms. Goss when she purchased the property. Ms. Goss answered that she bought the property on June 5, 2005. Ms. Moermond asked Mr. Magner when the Sununary Abatement Order was sent. Mr. Magner replied that the Summary Abatement Order was mailed to David Hall (previous owner) at 17306 Ideal Way, Lakeville, MN 55044, on June 28, 2005. Ms. Moermond noted that the county records would not have changed in time, so, she will recommend to the City Council that they delete this Assessment. OSO1T Assessment for Removing Diseased Tree(s) at 344 View Street Lee Gilbertson, owner, appeared. Mr. Olsen reported that the letter was mail on October 23, 2004 to Lee Gilbertson at 344 View Street. Mr. Gilbertson said that he does not live at 344 View Street. Mr.
