Mr. James J. Dalglish
Commissioner of Finance
Dear Commissioner:
I transmit herewith a suggested council resolution pertaining
to the notification of interested property owners in connection
with rezoning hearings initiated by the City Council under the
T140 Acre Study AreaiT method.
Reference is also made to our recent meeting with Messrs.
Hanson and Johnson concerning the possibility of posting signs '
on property sought to be rezoned. The proposal appears to have
merit and is worthy of study by the planning staff.
It is my recollection that this is now being done with apparent
success in Denver, Colorado. I would suggest that the matter
be presented to the Council for referral to the planning staff
and corporation counselTs office for further research and study.
Very truly ours,
KJ '
