The Council of the City of St. Paul having received the report of the Commissioner of Finance
upon the above impranement, and having considered said report, hereby resolves: �
1. That the said report and• the same is hereby approved and adopted, and the said improvement
is hereby ordered to be proceeded with. • "
2. That the nature of the improvement which the Council recommends is
to condemn and take an easement in the land',necessary for the slopes, cuts and fills,
including right of removal of lateral support from subject land or remainder thereof, +�
occasioned by excavations thereof or construction of slopes, in the grading and sur- -
facing with bituminous material COTTAGE AVENUE from Galtier Street to the cul-de-sa.c
west of Western Avenue and FARRINGTON STREET from the Northern Pacific RR R/W to
' Cottage Avenue, in accordance with the blueprint hereto attached and made a part
hereof, the hatched portions showing the cuts and the shaded portions showing

Resolved Further, 7.`hat a public hearing be had on said improvement on the 6th 'day of

July, 1965 at the hour of 10 o'clock A.M., in the Council Chamber af the Court
House and City Hall Building in the City o� St. Paul. That the Commissioner of� Finance give notice of
said meeting to the persons and in the manner grovided by th� Charter, stating the time and place af
heaxing, the nature of the improvement and the tot�al cost thereof as estima,ted. �
