COMMISSIONE DAT�
WHEREAS, an emergency has arisen because of the flooding �
conditioa of the Mississippi River and it will be necessary to
purchase sand bags and other materials and supplies to be used
for the protection and repair of public properties caused by
the flooding condition,
N�W, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Purchasing Agent
be and he is hereby authorized to purchase with the consent of
the Comptroller anq supplies or materials for uae in conaection
with the Emergency Flood situation without competitive bids and -
to charge such purchases to the Emergency Mississippi Flood
Fund, Activity Code 0285.
