• A BILL FOR AN ACT
RELATING TO THE CITY OF SAINT PAUL; AUTHORIZING
SAID CI7.'Y TO EXER(;1SE CERTAIN POWERS AND AUTHORITY
PROVIDED I1V MINNESOTA STATUTES 1961, SECTIONS
43Q.01 TO 430.15, AS AMENDED.
BE IT EIVACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF P4INNESOTA:
Section 1. Notwithstanding any provision of the charter of
the city of Saint Paul to the contrary� said city is hereby
authorized and empowered to exercise the powers and authority
provided by Minnesota Statutes 1961., Sections 430.�01 to 430.15r
.
as amended, and with respect to the issuance of bonds as authorized
and provided by Minnesota Statutes 1961, Section 430.12, said city
is hereby authorized and empowered to issue bonds a$ authorized
by said section without submission of the question of the issuance
• or the sale of such bonds to a vote of the electorate.
Sec. 2. The powers granted under this act shall be in addition
to all other powers now possessed by the city of Saint Paul.
Sec. 3. This act shall become effective only after its
approval by a ma�ority of the governing body of the city of
Saint Paul and upon compliance with the provisions cf Minnesota
Statutes, Section 645.021.
