Steiner has heretofore filed a claim , with the Industrial Commission, State of Minnesota, � alleging ,� - that he presently is , and si�nce February 10, 1964, has been totally and permanently disabled by ,reason of heart disease in the nature of arterio§cle-rosis and coronary sclerosis which is alleged to be .related to his employment as a policeman with the _ City; and , . tiYHEREAS, the City of St. Paul has denied any compensable injury or heart disease of an occupational nature and has denied . - total disability; and WHEREAS, a settlement of the employee's claim-. has been negotiated between the employee and his attorney, H. E. Cochrane , and the Cit� through the Office of the Corporation Counsel, wherein the City would agree to pay; and the employee would agree to accept in full, final, and complete settlement of any and all _ claims for Workmen's Compensation benefits by reason of said - heart condition, the swn of $8,000.00 representing approximately 17� weeks of compensation for permanent total disability, and that said settlement should constitute a full , final, and complete settlement of any and all claims that the employee may have against the City of St. Paul resulting from any claim of occupational disease or personal injury arising from his employ- ment � and that from said settlement there shall be deducted and $aid directly to H. E.
