Resolved, that an extra in the amount of $595.00 be allowed
under Contract G-3859 between the City of Saint Paul� and Gombold
Electric, Inc. said contract for the Electrical Work for the
Scalemaster' s Office at the City Market, Saint Paul,; and said
extra to cover the furnishing and installation of a 1000 watt
General �lectric Flood Fixture with photo cell, on a 30 foot
wood treated pole and a 60 ampere service with a 2 fuse switch
� for same, this Work having been requested by the Commissioner
of Public Utilities, and agreement made with the Contractor,
and a memorandum of said agreement having been filed with the
' Gomptroller and countersigned by him.

Dear Sir:
Contract No. G-3859 was awarded to Gombold Electric, Inc.
for Electrical Construction in connection with the Scale-
master' s Office at the City Market.
During the course of tYie work under this contract, it was
found advisable to install a 1000 watt General Electric
Flood Fixture with Photo Cell, on a thirty foot wood treat-
ed 'pole and a 60 ampere service with a 2 fuse switch for
same; and at the requ,est of the Gommissioner of Public
• Utilities negotiations ha�e been conducted with the contrac-
tor who agrees to do this worlc for the amount of $595.00,
which is a reasonable amount for the labor and material in-
srolved.
It is therefore requested that a resolution be submitted
to the Council authorizing this ex ra to th contract.
