Transaction: Funding Source: Financial Information: (ExpWin) CosURevenue Budgeted: Activity Number. �4.� ����a� �F?�ta�'� , i �t � � {. � _ 7 February7, 2006 92:41 PM Page 1 , _; 01,-141 � MEMORANllUM OF AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CTTY OF SAINT PAUL AND CLASSIFIED CONFIDENTAL EMPLOYEES ASSOCIATION The City of Saint Paul (hereinafter "Cit}�') and Classified Confidential Employees Association (hereinafter "Union") agree to the terms of the following Memorandum of Agreement (hereinafter "MOA"), which states as follows: WHEREAS, Article 25 of the collecrive bargaining agreement between the City and the Union requires a matching employer contribution of $100.00 to qualified employees' deferred compensation accounts, effective January 1, 2005; and WHEREAS, Article 26 of the collective bargaining agreement between the City and the Union requires an employer contribution of $130.00 to qualified employees' Post Employment Health Plan (PEHP) accounts, effective January 1, 2006; and WHEREAS, the City and the Union, through mutual discussion and consideration, seek to convert the deferred compensation contribution referenced in Article 25 of the collective . bargaining agreement into a PEHP contriburion referenced in Article 26 of the collective bargaining agreement; NOW THEREFORE, it is agreed as follows: Article 25 and Article 26 of the collective bargaining agreement between the City and the Union shall be amended to reflect the conditions noted above: ARTICLE 25 — POST EMPLOYMENT HEALTH PLAN 25.1 Effective January 1, 2005, employees with at least one (1) year of service shall be eligible for an Em�loyer contriburion of one hundred dollars ($100.00) �°'"°��r into a Post Employment Health Plan Account for each eli�ible em�loyee, subject to the criteria listed below. 25.2 Eligibility and implementation: � --•- - -- • -- ••-••-- - •- - - • •• • - .� t9��141 � �� L G�i7�1 Z� � � 25•2(11 • - - - - �- -- - ����� - - - - . - - -- For initial contribution, emplovees must have been employed for a minimum of one calendar year. 25.2l21 Em�loyees must be a member of the bargaining unit for a minimum of one calendaz year. For those emplovees who transfer into the bargainine unit from AFSCME Clerical, AFSCME Technical, or Professional Emplovees Association, such service in those bargaining units shall count toward the one-vear requirement. 25.2(3) 25.2 4 Cit�contributions will be made b�pril 1 of the followin� year.
