RESOLVID, That Section 264.01, Subdivision 2, of the Saint Paul
Legislative Code requiring consents of abutting land opners and lessees
in the downtown area of this Citq, said consents relating to the placement
of living trees on public sidewalks, ma.y be and hereby is waived, upon the
;application of the St. Paul Area Chamber of Commerce to place in excess of
ane hundred living trees upon said sidewalks, it being patently impractical
to secure individual consents, provided, that any o�aner of property or lessee
•thereof objecting to said tree placement ma.y require the removal of said tree�
�rom in the front of or the area adjacent to the property affected; and
• RESOLVED FURTHER, That nothing in this resolution contained shall be
regarded as waiving or otherwise affecting any other pertinent portion of �
Chapter 264 of said Legislative Code.
