WFIEREAS, the City Council accepted a$50,000 donation from John NasseFf on December 14, 2005
(council file #OS-114�; and

4 WIIEREAS, this dona6on is for the Saint Paul Police Department's Crime Laboratory in honor of the
5 late Richard H. Rowan who was Chief of Police for the City of Saint Paul from 1970 to 1979; and

7 WfIEREAS, a 2006 financing and spending plan needs to be established for this donation; and

9 WIiEREAS, The Mayor pursuant to Section 10.07.1 of the Charter of the City of Saint Paul, does
10 certify that there are available for appropriation funds of $50,000 in excess of those estimated in
11 the 20�6 budget; and

13 WHEREAS, The Mayor recommends that the following addition be made to t6e 2006 budget:

The City Council accepted a$50,000 donation from JohnNasseffon December 14, 2005 (council file #OS-1145). This donation is for the
Saint Paul Police Depar[ment's Crime Laboratory in honor of the late Richazd H. Rowan who was Chief of Police for the City of Saint
