Presented
WFIEREAS, the City of Saint Paul is a party to a settlement agreement between Thomas and Kim Holman and
Stephen McCarry, dated Sept. 9, 2005, pertaining to the redevelopment of an apartment building at 95-97
Langford into six condominiums for private sale; and
WHEREAS, as part of that settlement agreement, McCariy agreed to remove 110 feet of pttb�ie sidewalk that
had been installed as part of the redevelopment of the site, and
WHEREAS, McCariy has obtained the necessary demolition permit and the City of Saint Paul Department of
Public Works expects to allow the demolition to proceed when weather permits, in early spring 2006, in
conjunction with this settlement agreement, and
WHEREAS, new residents of 95-97 Langford Park as well as several neighbors of the building on Fulham St.,
Knapp St., Hillside Ave., and Langford Park have requested that a public hearing be held so that they can be
heazd in opposition to the removal of the sidewaik; therefore be it
RESOLVED, that the Cily Council of St. Paui schedules a public heazing for the purpose of giving citizens an
opportunity to be heazd on the removal of said sidewalk, on Wednesday, March 1, 2Q06, at 5:30 p.m.
