THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAINT PAUL (DOES ORDAIN: Section 1. That Ordinance No. 7607, approved February 13, 1935, as amended, be and the same is hereby further amended by striking out the "Minimum qualifications" in the specifications for "Planning Aide ", and by substituting in lieu thereof the following: "Minimum qualifications: High school graduation with courses in mechanical drawing and mathematics.'' Section 2. Examples of work performed: To seek and make arrangements for the booking and scheduling of theatrical, concert, lecture, athletic and other attractions. To arrange for rentals and scheduling of civic and social events. To help organizations in arranging details of functions at the auditorium or stadium. To meet with the auditorium committee. To organize and be responsible for advertising and publicity campaigns for coming attractions. To supervise the employees of the auditorium and of the stadium. To see that the auditorium and the stadium are kept in good repair and efficient operating condition. Minimum qualifications:. College graduation and ten years' professional experience in promotion or auditorium management work, at least three .years of which must have been as an assistant director of a municipal auditorium in a city of at least 300, 000 population, or as the director of an auditorium in a city of at least 150, 000 population or equivalent experience. *(No substitution for education.) To assign, plan, direct and supervise the work of janitors and others engaged in operating, maintenance and repair work. To make minor emergency repairs and to report conditions requiring maintenance, repair or replacement. In the absence of the Director, to be in charge of the building.
