_SPUNCIL RESOLUTION - GENERAL FORM
WHEREAS the City Council of the City of Saint Paul had intended sell-
ing a portion of Dunning Field to Concordia College, and
WHEREAS this intention had been expressed on June 28, 1963 under Council
File 213670, and
WHEREAS Concordia College through the LUTHERAN CHURCH - MISSOURI SYNOD
did, on August 1, 1963, send the City of Saint Paul a check for five thousand
dollars ($5,000.00) as earnest money on the purchase of a portion of Dunning
Field, which was credited to the Department of Parks, Recreation and Public
Building Fund titled "Playground Real Estate ", and
WHEREAS it has subsequently been determined that the City of Saint Paul
is unable to sell the desired property, and
WHEREAS on December 21, 1965 Concordia College has requested a refund
of five thousand dollars ($5,000.00) earnest money, and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the proper City officials are hereby
authorized and directed to refund five thousand dollars ($5,000.00) to
THE LUTHERAN CHURCH - MISSOURI SYNOD, as the corporation holding title to the
real property for Concordia Coll &ge, Saint Paul, Minnesota
