Ames, on Tuesday morning, December 28, 1965 at 9:00 A.M. The following members were present: Messrs. Ames, Clarke, LaNasa, McNeil, Merrill, Rooney and Shanley. Requests were given individual consideration by the Committee. OFFICE OF THE CITY CLERK A letter dated November 30, 1965, signed by Robert B. Gerber, Jr., City Clerk, requested the following: Increase: Walter A. Bell, Asstt. From C -$40 max. to C -$75 max. Eff. 1 -1 -66 Supervisor of Elections This increase is requested due to the fact that the coming year of 1966 is an election year. It was requested that after 12 -31 -66 that the car allowance revert back to C -$40 max. per month. This request is recommended for approval by the Council. DETENTION AND CORRECTIONS AUTHORITY A letter dated November 26, 1965, signed by Bernard M. Troje, Exec- utive Director, contained the following request: Add: Vernon Delkoski, Acting Farm Supervisor C -$25 max. Eff. 12 -1 -65 The Committee recommends that this request be granted. DEPARTMENT OF PARKS AND RECREATION AND PUBLIC BUILDINGS A letter dated December 6, 1965, signed by Commissioner Frank L. Loss, requested the following: Add: Erwin J. Merrill, Deputy Commissioner of Public Safety: Add: Donald Abelson, Fire Inspector C -$75 max. Eff. 12 -1 -65 This request was made due to the fact that Mr. Abelson was promoted from fire fighter to fire inspector during November, 1965 and was assigned a regular fire district as of December 1, 1965, This request is recommended by the Committee for favorable action by the Council.
