RESOLVED, That the Council hereby approves the award of the Purchasing Committee
therefor, and hereby awards contract for furnishing and delivering to the Water
Department,'Ham]3ne & Carrolf Avenues, Saint Paul, Minnesota, two 19,000# GVW
GmC vI -4001 Truck Chassis with IeRess 81x6.6 "x3/4 Yd. Dump Body and Perfection
Model 715 Hoist to MCGEE TRUCKS.. INC. in accordance with City specifications
therefor hereto attached and the Formal Bid #1553 of said McGee Trucks, Inc., at a
cost of $7,245.60 less allowance of $1000.00 for One 1956 Intl Dump Truck Model
S -160 and One 1958 Ford Dump Truck, Model F -800 to be taken in trade, making net
amount of contract $6,2+5.60, such bid being the lowest and said McGee Trucks, Inc.
being a reasonable and reliable bidder and the Corporation Counsel be and hereby is
directed to draw up the proper form of contract therefor, and the proper City
officials hereby are authorized to execute said contract on 'behalf of the City of
Saint Paul.
