INTERMEDIARY ORDER COUNCIL FILE NO. By File No. S7811 In the Matter of reconstructing the sidewalk on the west side of Macalester Street from Juno Avenue to Randolph Avenue and on the east side of Macalester Street from I Juno Avenue north approximately 135 feet and by doing all other work which is necess- ary and incidental to complete -said improvement under Preliminary Order 226110 approved DPCpmher 1, 1965 The Council of the City of St. Paul having received the report of the - Commissioner of Finance upon the above improvement, and having considered said report, .hereby resolves: 1. That the said report .and- the same is hereby approved and adopted, and the said improvement is hereby ordered to be proceeded with. 2. That the nature of the improvement which the Council recommends is to reconstruct the sidewalk on the west side of Macalester Street from Juno Avenue to Randolph Avenue,and on the east side of Macalester Street from Juno Avenue north approximately 135 feet and by doing all other work which is necessary and incidental to complete said improvement, except wher+ood and sufficient poured sidevialks now exist I - - with no alternatives, and that the estimated cost thereof is $ 3.25 per lin. ft. for 5' wide walk' • 3.80 per lin. ft. for 6' wide walk` Resolved Further, That a public hearing be had ,on said improvement on the 25th day of ! .w January, 1966 , at the hour of 10 o'clock A. M., in the Council Chamber of the Court House and City Hall Building in the City of St. Paul. That the Commissioner of, Finance give notice of said meeting to the persons and in the manner provided by the Charter, stating the time and place of hearing, the nature of the improvement and the total cost thereof as estimated. ++f .
