Johnson for a permit to install and operate a 40- car off - street parking facility accessory to a 30 -unit apart- ment building located on the west side of Farrington Street between the Northern Pacific Railroad right -of -way and Cottage Avenue. The property is described as the south 121 feet of the north 236 feet of Lot 21, Cottage Homes Addition and is zoned "C" residence. The site has a frontage of 121 feet along the west side of Farrington Street and a depth of 296.18 feet resulting in an area of approximately 35,837 square feet. At the October 8, 1965 Board of Zoning meeting, the staff reported -that the Traffic Engineer has reviewed the plan and recommends approval. The plans meet the design standards sub- ject to a revision. The proposed development meets the density and lot coverage requirements. Based upon the above considerations the Board of Zoning recom- mends the approval of the permit to install and operate a 40- car off - street parking facility subject to the applicant pro- viding a decorative fence or screen planting 'in the eight foot buffer strip along the southern boundary of subject property.
