RESOLVED, That the proper City officers are hereby
authorized to execute a rider to the agreements between the
City of Saint Paul and the St. Paul Municipal Softball Association,
St. Paul Municipal Football Association, St. Paul Municipal
Basketball Association, St. Paul Municipal Hockey Association, and
the St. Paul Municipal Baseball Association, to share in the cost
up to a maximum of $175 annually to provide workmen's compensation
insurance for `all persons participating as referees, umpires, line-
men, goal judges, scorers, and supervisors - in- programs sponsored
by the aforesaid ass-aciations.

RIDER TO AGREEMENT
WHEREAS, on the 16th day of May, 1960, a certain Agreement
was entered into by and between the St. Paul Municipal Baseball Associa-
tion, the St. Paul Municipal Football Association, the St. Paul Municipal
Basketball Association, the St. Paul Municipal Hockey Association, and
the St. Paul Municipal Softball Association, and the City of Saint Paul;
and
WHEREAS, said Agreement has been extended annually by Riders
to said Agreement, the last extension thereof expiring on the 30th day
of April, 1965; and
WHEREAS, it is presently the desire of the parties to extend
said Agreement, as amended, for an additional period of one year from
the 1st day of May, 1965, through the 30th day of April, 1966; now,
therefore, it is
AGREED, by and between the parties hereto as hereinabove set
forth that for good and valuable consideration, each to the other paid,
receipt-whereof is hereby acknowledged, that the aforesaid Agreement,
as amended, is extended for the period from May 1, 1965, to and includ-
ing the 30th day of April, 1966.
IT IS FURTHER AGREED, that the City of Saint Paul will pay to
the parties of the first part the sum of One Hundred Seventy -five Dollars
($175.00) upon execution of this Rider to Agreement, which sum repre-
sents a portion of the cost of a workmen's compensation insurance policy
which the parties of the first part agree to procure and at all times
during the period of this Agreement to keep in effect, to cover their

personnel participating as referees, umpires;,linesmen, goal judges and

scorers in the programs of the parties of the first part described in the
aforesaid Agreement of the 16th day•of May,f19600 as amended.

The payment of the aforesaid sum of One Hundred Seventy -five
Dollars ($175.00) shall be out of Parks and Refectories Fund No..
2700.
IT IS FURTHER AGREED, by and between the parties hereto,
that all of the other terms, provisions and conditions of the
agreement of May 16, 1960, as amended, between the parties, shall
continue in full force and effect.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties hereto have hereunto
