RESOLVED, That Minnesota Plastics Corporation, owner
of the subject real estate, hereby is permitted to install and
operate a 20 -car off- street parking facility, being an enlarge-
ment of an existing parking lot, on property on the north
side of Hawthorne Avenue between Abell and Sylvan Streets,
in Block 2, Parker and Baileys Out Lots, in accordance with
revised plans dated received November 10, 1965; subject to the
condition that said applicant - permittee and its successors
and assigns shall make due compliance with all applicable
provisions of municipal ordinances, State statutes, and rules
and regulations of public authorities having cognizance.

The City Council requested that you prepare a resolution granting
the attached application of Minnesota Plastics Corporation for
permit to install and operate a 20 -car parking lot, being an
enlargement of an existing parking lot on property on the north
side of Hawthorne Ave. between Abell and Sylvan Sts., in Block 2,
Parker & Bailey Qutlots, in accordance to revised plans received
November 10, 1965.

Dear Sir:
This is written in the matter of the application of Minnesota
Plastics for a permit to install and operate a 20 -car parking
lot which is an enlargement of an existing 51 -car parking lot
on property located on the north side of Hawthorne Avenue
between Abell and Sylvan Streets. The property is in Block 2,
Parker & Bailey Outlots and is zoned Light Industrial.
The Board of Zoning considered the matter at its October 21,
1965 meeting. The staff reported that the Traffic Engineer
has reviewed the plans and recommends approval. The plan

basicly meets the design standards for off - street parking faci-
lities.
Based upon the above considerations, the Board of Zoning recom-
mends the granting of a permit for a 20 -car parking lot on the
above described property subject to revisions in the plan.
Plans received in this office on November 10, 1965 reflect
these revisions, and the entire parking facility including the
old parking lot ,plus the new parking lot indicates a total of
70 off - street parking spaces.
