Gerber, Jr. City Clerk Building Dear Sir: This is written in the matter of the application of Minnesota Plastics for a permit to install and operate a 20 -car parking lot which is an enlargement of an existing 51 -car parking lot on property located on the north side of Hawthorne Avenue between Abell and Sylvan Streets. The property is in Block 2, Parker & Bailey Outlots and is zoned Light Industrial. The Board of Zoning considered the matter at its October 21, 1965 meeting. The staff reported that the Traffic Engineer has reviewed the plans and recommends approval. The plan r basicly meets the design standards for off - street parking faci- lities. Based upon the above considerations, the Board of Zoning recom- mends the granting of a permit for a 20 -car parking lot on the above described property subject to revisions in the plan. Plans received in this office on November 10, 1965 reflect these revisions, and the entire parking facility including the old parking lot ,plus the new parking lot indicates a total of 70 off - street parking spaces.
