RESOLVED, That Minnesota Plastics Corporation, owner
of the subject real estate, hereby is permitted to install and
operate a 43 -car off - street parking facility accessory to a new
buflding under construction, on property located on the north
side of Hawthorne Avenue (vacated) between Abell and Sylvan
'Strebts, in Block 29 Parker and Baileys Out Lots, in accordance
with revised plans dated received November 10, 1965; subject
to the condition that said applicant - permittee and its successors
and assigns shall make due compliance with all applicable provisions
of municipal ordinances, State statutes, and rules and regulations
of public authorities having cognizance.

Dear Sir:
The City Council referred to the Board of Zoning the applica-
tion of the Minnesota Plastics Corporation for a 43 -car parking
lot accessory to a new building under construction on property
located on the north side of Hawthorne Avenue'(vacated) between
Abell and Sylvan Streets. The site is located in Block 2,
Parker & Bailey Outlots and is zoned Light Industrial. The
proposed parking lot extends for a distance of 124 feet along
Sylvan Street with a depth of 108 feet resulting in an area of
13,392 square feet.
On October 21, 1965, the Zoning Board considered this matter.
The staff reported that the plan has been reviewed by the
Traffic Engineer, and from a Traffic Engineering point of view,
he recommends approval. The plan basicly meets the design
standards for this type facility.
In consideration of the above findings, the Board of Zoning
recommends -the approval of a permit for a 43 -car parking lot
on the above- described property subject to revisions an the
plan. Plans received in this office on November 10, 1965 re-
flect these revisions.

You are hereby notified that a public hearing will be held in the
Council Chambers of the City Hall and Court House in the City of
St. Paul at 10:00 a.m. on December 9, 1965, on the application of
Minnesota Plastics for a permit to construct a 43 -car parking lot
and an additional 20-car parking lot to an existing parking lot on
the following property: except south 15�feet Lots 1, 2 and 3 and
vacated avenue adjoining; all of Block 2., Parker and Baileys Outlots.
The property is located on the north side of vacated Hawthorne Avenue
between Sylvan and Abell Streets.
