WHEREAS, Henry Atzmiller, an employee of the Department of
Public Safety, Bureau of Police, was injured in a third party
accident on October 14, 1965, while engaged in the performance
of his duties-for said Bureau; and
WHEREAS, the City has incurred medical expense in the amount
of $22.00 therefor, and said employee was disabled for work for
a period of time, being paid salary in the amount of $133.85;
_and that City Squad Car No. 325 was also damaged in said accident
to the extent of $341.49 for which Comptroller's Registered Bill
No. 4890 was issued; and
WHEREAS,-the question_of liability being disputed, a set-
tlement has been negotiated between said employee and the other
party involved, which provides for a net settlement to the City
of $384.21; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the proper City Officers are hereby author-
ized to accept in ful� final and complete settlement of its
claim herein the sum of $384.21, and to execute,any necessary
releases therefor; that of said sum,-$133.85 is thereby credited
to the Police Salary Fund, and $250.36 in payment of Registered
Bill No. 4890.
