In the Matter of opening, widening and extending JACKSON STREET to a width of 100
ft. from 10th Street to I.S. #94 by condemning and taking for street purposes the
following described parcels of land all in the City of St. Paul. The westerly 44 ft.
of Lots 1 thru 13 Constants Addition to St. Paul except that part of Lot 13 already
acquired for Highway purposes.

The Council of the City of St. Paul having received the report of the Commissioner of Finance
upon the above improvement, and having considered said report, hereby resolves:
1. That the said report and the same is hereby approved and adopted, and the said improvement
is hereby ordered to be proceeded with.
2. That the nature of the improvement which the Council recommends is
to open., widen and extend JACKSON-STREET to a width of 100 ft. from 10th Street to
I.S. #94 by condemning and taking for street purposes the following described
parcels of land all in :the, Cityof St.,Paul. The westerly 4+ ft. of Lots 1 thru
13 Constants Addition to St. Paul except .that part of-Lot 13 already acquired for
Highway purposes.
with no alternatives, and that the estimated cost thereof is $ 10000.00
.z Resolved-Further, That a public hearing be had on said improvement on the 11th day of "
January, 1966 , at the hour of 10 o'clock A. M., in the Council Chamber of the Court
House and City Hall Building in the City of St. Paul. That the Commissioner of Finance give notice of
said meeting to the persons and in the manner provided by the Charter, stating the time and place of
hearing, the nature of the improvement and the total cost thereof as estimated.
