06-1111CouncilFile# 06-1111 GreenSheet# 3035251 RESOLUTION CITY OF SAINT PAUL, MINNESOTA Presented By: Referred To: Committee: Date 2y , z 3 4 s 6 7 e 9 10 11 12 13 �a �s 'I6 77 �a 19 zo 27 22 23 za 25 26 27 28 29 30 37 32 33 � 35 36 37 38 39 SUBSTITUTE RESOLUTION WHEREAS, the Mayor, pursuant to the City Charter has proposed and recommended the 2�07 budgets for the City of Saint Paul, artd WHEREAS, the proposed 2007 General and General Debt Service budge3s have been reviewed and approved or adjusted by the City Council, and WHEREAS, the City is required under Laws of Minnesota 2002, Chapter 390, Sec. 37, to levy a tax at the Library Board's request, which the Library Board has made, and WHEREAS, the property t� levy needed to finance those budgets, with allowance Eor shrinkage, has been detertnined, and WHEREAS, the Port Authority of the Ciry of Saint Paul requested a property tax levy to finance economic development budgets under laws of Minnesota, Chapters 469.053 subd 4, and 6, NOW THEREFORE BE fT RESOLVED, the City Council in anticipation of adopting the General Fund, General Debt Service, and Library Agency budgets for the fiscal year 2007, and in accordance with section 11 04 of the City Charter, does hereby lery taxes on all taxable property within the Saint Paul corporate limits, to be collected in the amounts set forth below, and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, the City Council requests the City Clerk to forv✓ard this resolution to the Ramsey County Department of Property Records and Revenue in accordance with the applicable provisions of the City Charter and other laws, and BE IT FINALIY RESOLVED, the CiTy Council requests the Office of Financial Services to complete and forward any state forms required identifying these adopted levies; Descrintion City levy for city operations and shrinkage City levy for Debt Service and shrinkage City levy for Library Agency operations and shrinkage City Levy for Cdy Government City levy for Port Authority levy per Mn.
