Dalglish ^ Commissioner of Finance v 9V 113 Court House St.Paul, Minn. 55102 Dear Sir Thankyou for your letter of July 16th. The proposal of the city to reconstruct the sidewalk on Dewey St. from Laurel to Ashland pleases me very much, as I had sent in a request this Spring for the cit; to la,y a new sidewalk along my property from the alley to Ashland on the west side of Dewey. I would prefer the 5 ft. width which you quoted at 3.25 per lineal foot, I will not be in the city August 3 to attend the hearing, as y plans, made a couple months ago, were to join a group of folks leaving for the northern part of the state on that day, for a weeks vacation. I hope there will be no opposition to this badly needed impr.ovement from the other property owners, Thanking you again, I am Sincerely yours, ( Miss ) ' n ` / dd lr
