R'HERAS, the City of Saint Paul and the Department of Public Works are proud of iu employees, and encourage further
training and educarional opportunities for them. The Depamnent of Public Works would like to host an all day training event on
Tuesday, May 1 2007 at the Holiday Inn, St. Paul East, and:
WHEREAS, there will be multiple speakers for this event, costs for speakers not to exceed $15,152. These speakers will cover
several work related issues, and topics, which employees can incorporate into their daily work duties, and;
WIIERES, the facility Holiday Inn, St. Paul East will provide accommodations for this event under the "McKnight Meeting
Package", which includes meeting rooms, screen with projector table, podium, microphone, and various tables to use.
Refreshmenu for this event will be provided. Rental of the facility and accommodations will not exceed $10,848, and;
Now, therefore, be it resolved, that the proper City officials are hezeby authorized to pay expenses incucred to host this event.
Total cost of this training event not to exceed $26,000, which will be disbwsed from funding code 255-12321-0289.
