Dear Sir:
Contract No. G 3849 was awarded to Jennings D. McLellan Son,
Inc. for Furnishing and Installation of New Composition Floor
Covering in Rooms 101, 102, 103 and 107 of the Traffic Shop -
and Survey Building, 666 -East Third Street, Saint Paul, Minne-
sota.
During the course of the work it was found that the tile in
the large office and entry were installed over lUastipave in-
stead of concrete (which fact was unknown until the work was
in progress) and the removal of the tile from this portion
of the j.ob required additional labor.
We have received a price of $126.00 for this extra work, which
is a reasonable amount for the work involved.
It is therefore requested that a resolution be submitted to
the Council authorizing this extra.
ur tr y,
obert L. me
