1 RESOLUTION AMENDING THE 2006
2 NEIGHBORHOOD SALES TAX
3 (STAR) PROGRAM

5 WHEREAS, on September 28, 1994, the City Council of the City of Saint Paul established the
6 Neighborhood Sales Tax Revitalization (STAR) Program, C.F. 94-1127; and
7
8 WHEREAS, the Neighborhood STAR Program is financed in accordance with Minnesota
9 Statutes, Cnapter 297A, authorized by the State of Minnesota, Chapter No. 375, Sec.46; and

11 WHEREAS, the purpose of the Neighborhood STAR Program is to fund capital improvements to
12 further residential, commercial and economic development in the neighborhoods of St. Paul; and

WHEREAS, on November 8, 2006 the Neighborhood STAR Board reviewed proposed funding
requests for McMurray Soccer Fields, West Seventh United Family Practice Health Center and
the Year-Round Neighborhood STAR Program; now, therefore be it
RESOLVED, that upon the recommendation of the Mayor, and with the advice and
recommendation of the Neighborhood STAR Board, the Council of the City of Saint Paul hereby
amends the 2�06 Neighborhood STAR Program to include the above listed projects as identified
in Attachment A, which is hereby incorporated as part of this resolution.
