1 WHEREAS, the Como Zoo and Conservatory Sociery has agreed to contribute $150,000 to the City of Saint Paul Pazks
2 and Recreation; and
4 WHEREAS, said contribution is to be used towazds the hiring of consultants to develop desi� plans for new polar bear
5 and gorilla eachibiu at Como Park Zoo; and
7 WHEREAS, Pazks and Recreation is willing to provide contract management and implementation services upon the
8 amendment of the 2006 Capital Improvement budget; and

10 NOW THEREFORE BE [T RESOLVED, by the Counci] of the Ciry of Saint Paul, upon the recommendation of the
11 Mayor, and the advtice of the Long Range Capital Improvement Budget Committee, that $150,000 is available for
12 appropriation in the 2006 Capital Improvement Budget, and that the 2006 budget, as heretofore adopted and amended by
13 Council, is hereby further amended as follows:
