under Contract G 3152 between the City of Saint Paul and Lover-
ing Constr�tction Company, said contract for Construction of the
Civic Education Building, Saint Paul, Minnesota, and said credit
for anitt�ng the installation of 78 receptacles, this change
having besZrequested by the Commissioner of Libraries, ,Auditori�im
and Civic Buildings, and agreement made with the Contractor,
and a memorandum of said agreement haying been filed with the
Comptroller and countersigned by him.

Dear Sir:
Contract G 3152 was awarded to Lovering Construction Company
for General, Mechanical and Electrical Construction of the
Civic Education Building.
During the course of the work, 119 electrical floor outlets
were changed from the type specified to flush type outlets
and only 41 have been installed, but the remaining 78 recep-
tacles cannot be installed due to a cor�flict with the loca-
tion of partitions. Howeuer, it was decided that the materi-
al ordered remain the property of the owner.
The credit offered by Lovering Construction Company for
omitting the installtion of these 78 receptacles is $390.00.
This is a fair and reasonable price for this omission and
we are recommending that a resolution be introduced into
the Council accepting the credit.
