'Whereas, Additions which might prove to be necessary in the Lnprovement
described as Grading and Paving of DODD RQAD from Stryker Avenue to the South
City Limits, Comptroller's Contract L-6758;Alexander Construction Company,
Contractor, ,have been provided for in the Specifications, and
Whereas, It has been found necessary to make the following Addition:
ADDIT ION
Unsuitable material encountered in excavation between Stryker
Avenue and Morton Street removed and the sub-cut to be filled with
granular material:
Furnish and place Class 4 sand-gravel backfill
approximating 1000 tons . . . . . . . . . . . @ ;,0,85 $850.00

'Whereas, The total addition is $850.00 and the Commissioner of Public
Works has agreed with the Contractor that the amount of $850.00 is the correct
sum to be added to said contract,,;t,herefore be it
Resolved, That the City of St. P'aul through its City Council approves the
foregoing addition made in accordance with the Specifications in the sum of
,5850.00, said amount to be added to the lump sum consideration named in the
contract, known as Comptroller's L-6758, and which amount is to be financed
from Municipal State-Aid funds.
