Carlson to legalize and continue an existing illegal four-f amily use on property classified in the 1iB'� residence district. In 1887 the subject property was developed with the existing 2� story � structure as a �wo-family residence. At some unknown date, this structure was extended to a four-family use which did not necessitate an enlargement of the original structure. Because the property is classified as "B" residence which �limits it to a two-family use, the applicant must secure � Council authorization pursuant to Chapter 64.03 of the Legislative Zoning Code to continue the use of the property as a four-plex. The Board of Zoning heard this request on duly 1, 1965. It was the Board's finding that inasmuch as off-street parking can be provided for only three cars, that the use of the property should be limited to three families, and that such use be 'subject to compTiance'with the changes set forth in the � Bureau of Public Buildings and Housing Code Division report dated June 9, 1965, . a copy of which is attached. .' _ - . It is, therefore, the Board of Zoning's recommendation that the use of the subject property be reduced to and continued as a three-plex for the life of the structure, subject�to the couditions as outlined above.;, It is �also recommended that, should the Council see fit to grant the appeal, that a . copy of the resolution be filed with the deed in the Register of Deed's ' office.
